No, the Essex Christmas Wonderland is a free event and will not be a ticketed event. The Fairground ride tokens can be purchased from the onsite box office. All tickets Big Top Shows must be booked in advanced, we will have a limited amount of tickets onsale at the box office.

All tickets to the Essex Christmas Wonderland are E-tickets. These will be sent to the email address that you provided upon booking. If you have not received your tickets, please contact our customer service (details can be found on our ticket page).

All tickets are non refundable. However, if you are unable to attend, please do feel free to gift your tickets to a family member or friend

If the Essex Christmas Wonderland is cancelled by the Event Organisers, please be rest assured you will have the option to request a refund or reschedule your booking for an alternative date. We hope that this gives you confidence in booking a ticket for this year’s event.

Essex Christmas Wonderland will take place from Friday 10th December 2021 – Friday 24th December 2021, 12pm – 11pm.

On arrival please follow the signs to the car park. Please note, car parking spaces must be purchased online via our ticketing page and the QR code must be displayed on arrival.

Dogs are not permitted at the Essex Christmas Wonderland with exception of certified assistance dogs.

The safety and comfort of our visitors is a priority. Essex Christmas Wonderland have strict security measures at all times so if you see something suspicious, or something that does not feel right, please report it to a member of our security team. To maximise safety, searches will take place at point of entry. This can include the use of metal detectors and searches of the person. All bags will be searched. Please note these searches are a condition of entry, any person with illegal or prohibited items or who does not want to be searched will be refused entry and their ticket/s will not be refunded. Please also note prohibited items listed below. We will not be able to look after these items for you or hold liability and you will not be able to enter the event or receive a refund. Security checks may result in delays when entering the site, please leave extra time for these searches to take place. The following articles must not be brought into the event. Any person attempting to bring any of the below items on site will be refused entry and their ticket will not be refunded: - Knives (including pocketknives) - Work tools - Fireworks - Smoke canisters - Air-horns - Spray cans - Chinese Lanterns - Handheld communication devices (such as radios) - High Visibility clothing - Skateboards, scooters, or bikes - Flares - Weapons - Dangerous or hazardous items - Laser devices Bottles/ glass vessels / cans – even if wrapped up as a present for a later time - Your own alcohol – even if wrapped up as a present for a later time - CS Gas - Poles - Drones - Any article that might be used as a weapon and/or compromise public safety - Open bottles of drink/liquid (unopened and sealed bottles of water will be accepted, as will empty reusable cups and bottles) - Illegal drugs - Nitrous Oxide - Drug Paraphernalia - Chairs/Stools - Banners/Flags - Unauthorised professional photography equipment. Equipment considered to be professional will be permitted at the discretion of the security. Any other items which we consider to be unsafe or pose a risk to public safety and/or security

The Essex Christmas Wonderland is an outdoor event so make sure you dress appropriately as we will be open in rain, snow or shine! No refunds will be given due to inclement weather. There are multiple covered seating areas across the site, providing warmth and shelter in varying degrees of enclosure – some of which are heated. There are also many benches throughout the site for you to rest your legs whilst soaking up the festive spirit!

Masks will not be required at the Essex Christmas Wonderland

When purchasing alcohol at the event, you will be asked for valid identification to confirm that you are aged 18 or over if you appear to be under the age of 25. Alcohol is not permitted to be brought into the event from outside, and any alcoholic drinks purchased on site must be consumed before leaving. Bag searches will be in operation and you will be asked to consume or dispose of your drinks purchased on site before leaving the event premises.

A Family Ticket is available for family groups consisting of either: 2 Adults/Teens with 2 Children OR 1 Adult/Teen with 3 Children

The Essex Christmas Wonderland is for everyone. There are rides and attractions for children as young as 2, with more thrilling rides for the older ones – and both young and old love to see Father Christmas.

Yes, group bookings of 20 people or more receive a 10% discount. This will be automatically applied to your online order and is available on advance sales only. For school groups with pupils aged 12 years and under, we offer one free teachers’ tickets for every 10 pupils. Groups of 20 or more pupils will receive the 10% group discount. Please note: The discount only applies to 20 pupils or more per attraction. We strongly advise all schools, groups and large parties carry out their own risk assessment prior to their visit. This responsibility lies with the school, group or party making the booking.

The Essex Christmas Wonderland are following National Guidelines on Covid-19 to ensure that your event is delivered safely.

If the event closes due to COVID-19 all attraction ticket holders will be refunded. The event is free and does not affect anyone other than ticket holders.

You will be able to select a new session time to attend again at no extra charge but may incuurr an additional administration charge.
